Kpl Wan Masrul Faiezie Wan Mustapha, 33, who was attached to the Special Branch in Bukit Aman police headquarters here, was accused of killing L/Kpl Thivakar Thangavelu, 27, by a roadside of Jalan Negeri Sembilan at Bukit Persekutan here between 4.11pm and 4.50pm on Feb 4.
He was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
No plea was recorded and no bail was offered.
Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin fixed Apr 14 for mention pending post-mortem and chemist reports.
L/Kpl Thivakar was shot point-blank twice on the head.
