After recovering from the flood since Nov 15, Perak was again flooded yesterday with 49 victims being evacuated to relief centres.
According to the National Security Council's (NSC) flood portal, the flood which affected 13 families occurred in the Kuala Kangsar district in Kampung Bendang Ujib, Kampung Kuala Terap, Kampung Padang Lalang and Kampong Berala.
All the victims were being housed at the Kati Community Hall and Kampung Terap Community Hall.
The report said that in Johor the number of flood victims rose to 29 from 21 on Monday and they were being accommodated at the relief centres at Kampung Tandong, Kampung Spang Loi and Kampung Awat in the district of Segamat.
Meanwhile in Negri Sembilan, the number of victims dropped to 44 compared with 112 on Monday. They were evacuated to the Community Hall in Dangi, Kuala Pilah.
The Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) said only the Sungai Muar, in Rompin Town, Gemas in Negeri Sembilan exceeded the danger level when it rose to 35.42 metres. The danger level is 35 metres.
